Our products are unique, and on top of that we offer the option of printing your name and/or logo on the bags, to add even more exclusive value to your bag. Our products are available to purchase online, as well as through a network of salespeople countrywide.
HOW IT STARTED
Bush Bags SA was established in Pretoria in 2016 by Johan Swart, at that time an officer in the SA Army Reserve Force.
With no intention to go into production with these bags, the first Kitbag 900 was made for own usage. The first day this bag was used, fellow soldiers saw it, and on the spot ordered 3 of those. The bags were manufactured and delivered, and from those another 12 orders came in, and from those another 29 orders. This all happened in a time frame of 2 weeks. By then there was no turnaround, but a Given opportunity to run with.
The humble beginning was with one sewing machine in the home’s guestroom. We continued to improve and expand our product range. 2 Years later, with orders pouring in, 4 machines in the “bedroom”, which by then rather was a small factory, and with 3 of us trying to work in there, we were forced to move to much bigger premises. And another 4 years later we moved again, this time to a workplace 4 times bigger.
Made by a soldier, for soldiers! Our bags has been hardened by soldiers and has undergone severe testing in various environments. It won the hearts of many soldiers, hunters, outdoor enthusiasts, travellers, etc.
